1) VOLTAGE SPIKE DUE TO LIGHTING /THUNDER STRIKE AND POWER SURGE : Voltage spikes can also damage inverters. These occur when the voltage in the power supply suddenly rises above the normal level. This can happen due to lightning strikes, power surges. To protect your inverter from voltage spikes, you should use thunder arrestor, surge protectors and voltage regulators.

2) POWER SUPPLY PROBLEMS (GRID(NEPA)/ GENERATOR): problems with the power supply can also damage inverters. This can happen if the voltage is too low or too high, or if the power supply is unstable. To avoid power supply problems, make sure that you use a high-quality AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR (AVR) or Stablizer that is designed for use with your inverter.

3) OVERHEATING : Finally, Inverters generate heat when they operate, and if they get too hot, they can be damaged. This can occur if the inverter is installed in a location that gets too much sun or if it is placed in a confined space with poor ventilation. To avoid overheating, make sure that your inverter is installed in a well-ventilated area and the internal fan is working as expected.
